Lydia Burgess is a UK artist/educator based in Amsterdam. “Inner Sun Dance” is a set of work inspired by the movement of the sun, its radiance and ethereal element. Her work explores themes of interconnectedness, fluidity and entanglement through net-like structures. Her installations use paper as a medium to explore the opposing nature of 2D and 3D by playing with light and shadows. For this work she created natural photo-sensitive dye to reflect the theme of capturing the sun in space and time.
